alternativeThe Fleurier Quality Foundation (FQF) created the first certification to feature both aesthetic and technical criteria. These benchmarks for mechanical timepieces are extremely challenging. The certification was presented in September 2004 by a foundation comprising the following companies from Fleurier: Bovet, Chopard, Parmigiani and Vaucher. An autonomous and independent structure, the Fleurier Quality Foundation draws its legitimacy from the active participation of public authorities, including the Swiss Federal Government (via the SECO), the Canton of Neuchâtel, the Municipality of Fleurier, the Val-de-Travers Regional Association and the Philippe Jéquier Foundation. Compliance with the criteria is verified by an independent technical committee according to a set of precise rules: • The movement must be chronometer-certified by the COSC • The cased-up watch must have passed the “Chronofiable” Test • The running of the finished watch must be verified by the “Fleuritest” • The quality of execution must be irreproachable The FQF certification assures the final customers that they are purchasing a watch that features: reliable precision in all circumstances, tested robustness and durability and exclusive aesthetic quality of finish. Three L.U.C models earn this prestigious distinction: • L.U.C Qualité Fleurier in 18-carat white gold (limited and numbered series of 250) • L.U.C Qualité Fleurier in 18-carat rose gold (limited and numbered series of 250) • L.U.C Tech Qualité Fleurier in 18-carat white gold (limited and numbered series of 250) For further information please consult the following website : www.fleurier-quality.com BACK TO THE L.U.C COLLECTION
